Types of Funds
Donor Advised funds are established by individuals who wish to actively participate with Foundation staff in designating distributions from their fund.
Donor Designated Funds:
Designated funds provide ongoing support to organizations specified by the donors.
Field of Interest Funds:
Field of Interest funds center on the specific interests, issues or concerns of an individual or organization. Among these are education, the arts and the environment.
Unrestricted Funds have no constraints on their use or purpose. These funds allow the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation the greatest flexibility to respond to the current and future needs of the Greater Itasca Area in Northern Minnesota.
To donate to a specific fund, list the fund name in the designation field.
